How the hell are we supposed to like furuya when his character gets opportunities handed on a silver platter what because hes furuya. I cant believe aurhor makes eijun stumble and fall for no rhyme or reason. Its shown time a time again how reliable eijun is in very stressful situations and strong opponents, yet know that hes the ace it doesn’t matter? That type of shit doesnt fly with me cus the author never built up eijuns character to crumble under pressure. Its a cop out to pave way for furuya, utter pissed off about the bias. if the authors going to build it up, i expect a payoff. Not for furuya to make a mess and eijun to clean it up.

I like this story because the characters act are 3 dimensional. They all have motives for doing what they do, and their actions and status affect the story. Like the ML is a misogynistic womanizing ass. That could have been a stereotype that didn't matter to the plot. But it's because of that reputation that makes the MC choose him. His reputation is also so horrible that no one believes him. And the MC was seen as a flower, but we see what she can do in desperate situations. She is manipulative. But, I love her character. It's not like she abuses people or treats others like scum. She is in fact put into a situation, that forces her to bring out the worst(manipulation) and best in her(survival instincts, smarts).
They seem like a horrible match to the outside world, but this is one of the few marriages of convenience where I've seen both parties greatly benefit from the deal. ML gets profit and maybe a better reputation. MC doesn't have to marry some dude 3 times her age, no false pretenses(because she's not marrying a prince or king), and remains in her land where she can be with family. She sacrifices chances of love, Ml sacrifices a little control over his life. Life is about give or take, doing the lowest of low to get to the highest of high, or being at the highest of high, to end up the lowest of low. This story reflects the turbulent thing called life. I won't be mad at that at all.
meh, too cliche
