I actually thought this was cute until they had female lead syndrome and no one else got a real story. I would rather read about Arjen and the brothers. they could have ended Aren's love story with her and Jason together. Felt this was unfair to Arjen, and gave his twin most of his powers, the guardian who should love them both has one he would pick over the other, there should have at least been 2 guardians for them, why did they have to share one? it's just disappointing that they made him into a side character more than anything.
I have a question Ya'll, I know from comments and just what the author did (which was kind of annoying ex: Tess being called mom/grandpa saying son in law) who Arthur gets with. And that this goes way more romance than we are going to like but I just want to ask one thing. Is no one else irritated or annoyed that they, from the beginning made it very aware that Tess would be the main lead?
Ok so harem or no harem whatever, but I think you should give your readers time to ship before throwing it in there face who they get with (if you have a FL). I would have liked to see Arthur hanging out with the princess and Tess, for us to get to know their character and build up the relationship. But there was none of that. I personally like the princess over Tess. Yes Tess is energetic, friendly and all that, but I think the princesses personality might suit Arthur better, but it was clearly written (IMO) that there isn't going to be development.
I think the princess is actually pretty cool. Clearly different from her brother and father, and acknowledges when she's wrong, looks deeper into things and is considerate. Her personality also makes it seem like once you get to know her, she could be shy when she opens up, and her real personality comes out. I feel like what she shows is because of where she is, she stated "Arthur was different from the rest' and her dad and brother clearly show why she might be the different of the family.
Anyway my point is, you gave us characters as love interest, but you were never going to make her a real love interest. I personally think Tess needs to take a step back. Even if you like someone they don't have to like you back. And your claiming Arthur, like he's yours and gets mad at any girl who approaches. That's not cool. Don't push your feelings onto others. Arthur never wanted to date to begin with. And I feel some of the romance is a bit forced and rushed. Arthur is a (20+ adult) who never looked at any child because he saw them as a CHILD, but all of a sudden he looks at Tess for a moment because of.....FL armor. She still looks like a child. If it was written in when they were....at least 16-18 then fine because they have actually developed more adult like features. But it was just.....not placed right to me. And it's actually drifting me away from their relationship for the most part. So I don't support her as the FL, and kinda wish all the romance would just go away until they are at least adults. There are some things about the manga that's been making me not like it as much (not just talking about the romance) as well. （￣へ￣）
I do not and am not hating on Tess, I just feel a bit disappointed and would like to hear anyone's opinion on it.

I totally agree with you no one is obligated to like you back and I want to see him explore a relationship with the other princess they seem to be on the same wavelength I think they could learn things from each other to help them grow and further the plot plus yeah he’s old right now romance shouldn’t be the first thing til he is of age in this body too

Not necessarily, many shonen moves on with the story with no romance involved.
Romance per se is not a main factor, its just an element that adds spice to the story but not necessarily an important focus point.
Point 2 he doesnt need a love interest to feel complete, he is an old man(king) reincarnated in a boy’s body, that alone tells you that him getting a young love interest is morally wrong. Also define how the plot would become dry if he doesnt get a lover, the plot is rich enough as it is. Last thing I need would be him making stupid decisions cause of his damsel in distress
I honestly don't think remembering your pass life counts and this being wrong. No matter how I look at it he's still a child. They are many situations where he acts as a child and it definitely wasn't purposely done. Remembering a pass life doesn't change that he's still young and the same age as those other kids. In reality if someone was to remember their pass life they would be treated as they look and that would mentally make them act as they are treated.
Its ture this plot is really good without romance but what would be the difference from his pass life to this one if it didn't have any he basically was powerful back then too but he was lonely and had no family or friends.
But in this new life he has family and friends that he cares for, he is not alone that is for sure... plus you havent met the other potential FL.

The thing is ur completely right. Also I believe we all actually wouldn't mind romance if Tess was written as an individual. You mentioned you liked the black haired princess.. that might be because she was written as a character with her own personality, goals and ethics. Tess on the other hand is a character who revolves around Art. Any interaction we get from her is all about Art. Her jealousy, obsessiveness with Art overshadows who she is as a person. She is supposed to be strong and powerful yet why are we not seeing her develop her strengths instead of an overly done crush. I mean the whole reason she is at this academy was because she wanted to go to a school Art was at... its quite sickening. Honestly I would have totally shipped her with Art is she was a badass chick.. but all we got was this

1. SM's smile at the end just gave me a whole feel of I'm tired. It was such a sad and forlorn smile. And to add that he's never gone back to that house to the coffin which was the only way he could sleep, just proved that it couldn't be 'home' anymore. freaking new it.
2. I don't give a dam about Hansoo and the track suit dude and I'm gonna be pretty ticked off if they get off scot free like that.
3. it was really upsetting that the final chapter focused on Hansoo and track suit dude. I don't care about you 2, and you haven't learned your lesson. track suit dude still pushing blame off himself, he got made people killed and left them for dead to save himself.
4. I can't wait for the epilogue, it better be about SM. and killing/torturing the 2 idiots.
Ugh I'm so sad. This was one of my predictions but ugh I freaking loved BM. And dam, how much BM really loved SM. rather be killed than kill him. BM literally loved SM to death. I think SM will use that bullet on himself. I can't see him living without BM.
Also F you Hansoo, this is all your freaking fault, you and the track suit dude. You both deserve your just reward. I don't want SM around either of them. selfish jerks, they better get whats coming!
OK so.....this is my theory now. Hellsing dude wants SM to kill BM, them i think SM will kill hellsing so he can rest now that his revenge is done. I dont know if Hellsing dude know about SM room filled with red blood stones.
Also BM has really been protecting SM for so dam long like. SM litterally made a room of things that could kill him. What would have happened if BM wasn't collecting all of SM's dam stones!?
I didnt know i'd go there but dam! BM is the main and only one who deserves a happy ending. and that will not happen if SM dies, cause BM would forever be alone!
1. so they look weird as kids lol I just had to say that. They don't even look like kids just shrunk down adults smh.
2. After long consideration I have decided to drop this. Its just not good IMO, the story, the character development just everything. I don't even really like Juin and Yang and they're the main characters. I actually like Cain even though I know he's suppose to be like the surprise bad character! But yeah I just can't get into this. I've been trying. 'A guy like you' had faults to me too but it was more tolerable than this. I hope everyone else enjoys this and it turns into something good, or continues being something good for you. I was just disappointed with it. I hope the author keeps up the good work they have been doing though.
Ok so...I don't know how to feel right now. These are my thoughts....
1. If they both die; I'm going to be really sad, I think I might cry for it.
2. If one of them die; I'm still going to be sad and I picture it like this. If BM wins I see him being critically hurt, taking SM back home (If SM body doesn't disappear), playing him turntable, bring SM to bed and lay down next to him until he (BM) dies as well. Since BM stated he couldn't kill SM or he'd be alone. I Can't see him living in complete loneliness.
And if SM wins I see him coming to his senses to see BM dying. SM being shocked, hugging him and saying something like "what, hey you monster, what are you doing, hey, I'm sorry so, don't, don't" and BM disappears. Then SM breaks down in tears, loses his mind and just turns into a killing machine. Because he's lost someone he truly loved. And he's finally able to understand what love and happiness is now that he's lost it forever (since that's brought up a lot). Just like how BM couldn't be without him, he's not able to live without BM and now no one is left that could let him SM die to be with BM.
3. If they are able to both survive; I see/hope SM changes and matures a bit. As in he doesn't want to become human but still plays with them to have fun and goes home to annoy/smile/laugh with BM. while BM is still the same but smiles more around SM cause they both have come closer to some kind of happiness.
But one thing for sure. They can't live without each other.
