Quick question, since so many people have said sungkyung has schizophrenia, how come it wasn’t as severe in the beginning of the story? Is it because as he said he was writing everything down or does trauma influence things. I have no clue how schizophrenia works so I’m lost
Honestly I'm curious too cause I'm just assuming he has some kind of schizophrenia or another illness near it
all mental illnesses are made worse by stress, generally... grief+trauma are absolutely types of stress. also w schizophrenia, sometimes it doesn't even manifest until ppl are in their 20s, often triggered by stress/trauma/grief/etc. journaling is a great way to relieve stress, process trauma, + keep memories straight so now that his one healthy(ish) coping mechanism is gone, im sure thats not helping!!

They literally are. They did that bag together if you go back a few chapters. Also, drugs stays in your system for a bit. Withdrawals can also be taken into consideration
Yeah. What I mean by "not allowed" is that he himself isn't allowed by Cheong-Rim as everytime he wants to take it, he's denied (unless it's shared with Lil'Rim)

also, some drugs can trigger latent schizophrenia, so even if he's not currently on drugs that could still smell him see/hear/feel things that aren't there

tbqh, given korea's crazy strict drug laws, i think 945 has never seen, smelled, or heard a drug in their entire life. but they probably did just enough research to get all the scary worst-case info abt drugs, so this might be intentional after all.
