I dunno, maybe I'm missing something. She is a little naive, but I don't pity the Duke. They married without love, and their relationship wasn't good to begin with. Not mention I feel that showing up with a bloodied person in a bag isn't a great introduction. It would be weirder if she wasn't wary of him. Not mention, he really didn't have any interest in her until she started to care about Ain. The Duke isn't exactly open with his feelings. I don't blame her for avoiding him. Not to mention she was a daycare worker, she likes kids. She happy to have Ain as a her son, and wants to help avoid him becoming a villain. I don't really think anything is wrong with that.
I agree. I still feel a little bad for him, because he doesn’t get why she won’t change her opinion of him; even though he’s trying to be nice. I’m hoping though that this castle visit will give both of them a bit more perspective of each other.
