Jiho is human. I think as readers we have more context but if you were with someone and they kept getting worse and you thought them patching things with their mom would help you would. Inwoo is hurting and it makes sense for him to think all Jiho feels for him is pity. I hope he gets better. The villain in all this is the mom.
Her mother is THE ROOT of his problems. His separation anxiety, his numbness to food, his self disgust etc..
Even if Jiho was qualified to touch that subject, he shouldn't have done it the way he did.

I love this story so much. In the beginning it seemed like an ordinary reincarnation story but it is so much more layered. She is innocent and sweet. I love her pure soul. Also love that they didn't do the "all boys who meet her become love interests" thing. The prince and his fiancé is a great touch. What a cute little dragon. I still feel bad when she had to run away and her tail cut off.
I am so happy for my girl. For abusive victims who have been isolated their entire lives finally leaving the crutches of that isolation and recognizing that someone is there for them, loving them? This is huuuge. F*ck that rancid gremlin of a brother. He can go to hell. Ruby deserves all the love.

I loved it so much i caved and im reading the novel. Its the one exception i have to the twink body swap after death trope that i hate. It makes sense in the lore, and it grew on me. It only gets better from here.
Try with «Turning». It doesn't have the humor, but believe me when I say that it is another GEM.
