its obvious the author put a lot of work into making this story and the characters more complex and dynamic. such a waste consumers only care about the surface level fan fiction crap #－.－)
fan bases of series with male protagonist generally focus less on the romance (if there even is any) and put the heroes journey of self discovery and motivations above everything else. kind of a shame female centric stories make the romance the main selling point, as if you wouldn't much care to read a story with a female lead, if there was no romance in her story ╮(￣▽￣)╭ that kind of thinking is kind of a bummer
so he cheats on her when shes in the hospital after an attack as soon as his lover comes crawling back, rather then talk this out and end the relationship beforehand, not only that but his bitch of a boyfriend wanted him to keep his current relationship while sneaking around behind her back as if that was somehow "kinder"
both of them are trash, they deserve each other I'm just surprised to see people hating tamaki.
its kind to hard to empathize with the abuse or mistreatment the mc goes threw when the author/artist is always having her make these stupid emoji faces at inappropriate times, using her "suffering" for the sake of gags in the comic. there might as well be a laugh track while reading this. seriously why cant they take the subject matter seriously and not depict the lead as some kind of idiot?

I love how easily the MC gets the ML flustered lmao, this dynamic is usually reversed with the dude being the calm, collected one to make the advances through teasing and initiating touch; the woman passively accepting it all without taking any initiative herself from fear. its just nice to see more male characters like this who can express more. I dont blame her, his reactions are just ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

I think it's implied that the person who pulled out the kids teeth was the daughters father, he was just a black silhouette so it was intentionally masking who it was. And the kid who's teeth was being pulled out told someone who was in the closet to "run", and I'm assuming that person is the one who abducted the daughter. That kid who's teeth was pulled out later was shown to be the same kid that the abductor said was his first kill, which seemed to be out of mercy and that kid was one of the fellow captives at that house. I think the mother was somehow involved or aware of what her husband was doing and this is his revenge for what happened to him when he was young

How is he acting proud? Ijekiel is clearly jealous of Lucas for knowing magic and being close to the princess. He even looks sad and said sorry to Jennette. It must have hurt Jennette but I dont think Ijekiel rejected her romantically coz first: Jennette is still a child, she doesnt know anything about love yet that's why Ijekiel told her that they both have different kind of love with Athy. Ijekiel is just being honest to Jennette because he knows that his father is planning to make him Jennette's fiancee
I feel their conversation wasn't just a matter of making a distinction between their feeling regarding athy clear though as he came off kind of whats the word.. off put or bemused? when she called them the "same" it wasn't just about athy, but also their unrequited love lives. it appeared he felt insecure because of the topic of "not having magic" having been brought up (which probably reminded him of lucas and the princesses closeness) and thats what provoked this strangely cold terse response towards jennette all of a sudden to distinguish himself apart from her and distance himself and thats what came off "proud" to me. I mean he is a noble it doesnt surprise me, but he doesnt like to feel like he's in the same position as someone like jennette who is always chasing after the affections of someone but not having them be returned.. kind of deeper then just a matter of who likes athy more
idk its just my own interpretation, the scene can be read in more ways then one. only the author know why the characters act the way they do.
Just a warning but better stop reading this now before you start venting your unmet expectations for Arjen out on poor Arien.. if you have any issues with her being the main focus, as this IS still foremost, a Shoujo manga it will follow a female lead. if you want a story with an OP male lead (with a harem of hoes for fanservice) I can suggest you with some couple thousand of Isekai/Shounen with all those qualifications ╮(￣▽￣)╭
yeah.. while its understandable they want a little focus on arjen, I do wish they would stop being negative towards arien for it, its the Authors choice after all.
I'm pretty sure half of the complaints are because of the unfair treatment. Yeah, I'm well aware that it's targeted towards females, but I think half of us clicked because of the word "Twins". I'm not bias against them, I love them both equally. I don't care whose thoughts I'm reading, but making Arjen look more like sidekick compared to his sister is kinda... pissing people off??.
your right thats its unfair buts its not like its not been consistent. arien was being favored since the earlier chapters so its not like it started off with arjen making you believe he was the main only to go into completely ignoring him.. that would have been even more frustrating. its always been arien's perspective the only thing meant to make this story different is his presence in his sisters life.. his agency as a independent character is not the priority of the author.
