I dont like it when the ML is the type to sleep around he had a fiancee but ignored her not even trying to meet her until he "accidentally" slept with her while she was trying to find a way to leave him he deserves to have another guy come along and steal her!!!
Well the ml did it not because he likes it but because he had to cause if not his magic would be uncontrollable, so its acceptable and it also showed how he didn't like it as their first night should be the last.
But he had a fiancee he could have met with and possibly if they both liked eachother they could have solved his problem together but no he chose to go to those parts and sleep with all those women and he chose to not even consider his own fiancee as a possibility

not quite..based on the novel, after the engagement is confirmed with the mc (preciously she only a candidate), the prince decided to stop attending the ball. the last one he attended ( where he meet mc) just for the courtesy to thank the organisers. The prince and mc never meet previously because mc make sure to never attended the ball where the prince present and it is rumoured that mc has weak constitution, so all the meeting set by mc father is cancelled
Actually the suggestion of his friend to go to the evening party went first then later on his father told him that he would have a fiancee, and even before that announcement he already decided that he would stop sleeping with women as he didn't like it. It's in chp. 3
