Essentially, his fate is kinda messed up because when the ml was younger he messed around with fate (the strings) and cut the mafias guy string who was originally connected to the mc (like love interest wise). Therefore this shaman is helping him reconnect his string so he’s not basically loveless forever in exchange for clearing the shamans debt!!
