This webtoon was so so good, I love Bayan and Dhan and most of the supporting character. Although it had quite a few plotholes and many of the problems that were deemed difficult to solve were solved pretty easily later but i loved the flow of the story, the love of the ML and FL like Dhan always always supporting Bayan, the family~like moments with the black wraiths and her ladies in waiting.
I especially loved Bayan, her character build up was so so good, she was simple and smart through out the whole webtoon and the way she started studying and actually utilizing her knowledge and intuition to fight all obstacles was really fun.
Guys it's coming, the long awaited *wink*(づ￣ ³￣)づ*wink* is coming but please let it be next week

Aria was a truly virtuous villainess (no matter how much contradictory those words may sound together). She worked for her own goals and success and hurt only those that had wronged her or her beloveds, really love her so much.
But for me the GOAT of the story was Karin, Aria's mother, i absolutely adore her. There was no point in the story where she decided to abandon her, even at the peak of her richness, she always worried about Aria's welfare, be it the carraige incident or the poisoning one. She is such a strong, brave and clever person, it makes me the happiest that she got her happy ending too ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
We love Karin so much ╥﹏╥<333 i get sad when i think that in the first timeline she was trying her best to make a safer life for her daughter but in the end they were both plotted agnst. Rarely do we get mother figures in these European style settings, and if we do they're oind of over shadowed by the father figures.
So true, most mother figures have zero depth to them and even fathers are shown to be so overly "fatherly" but Karin was so real.
Oh absolutely agree! Karin is one of the best, if not THE best character in this manhwa. Her character sketch is more relatable than the rest. She's mature, knew her position and married suitably for her and Aria's sake. She's flexible and can adapt to changes well, and carried herself with such grace that it was hard to believe that she had ever been a prostitute (they usually had vulgar and coarse behaviour at those times, mostly due to lack of education).
I love how she gives Aria her space, and supports her from the background. Also, her slapping Cain was EPIC!! I was so fired up at that instance lol. It's a shame we don't see much of her being an active Countess, because I know how much work they have to do, looking after the estate and the tenants. Also, last but not least, she's the only character around Aria who is not manipulated by ANYONE (neither Aria nor Mielle), so just imagine how smart she is. I still fail to understand how she fell victim to poisoning in previous timeline. So yes, she's amazing!!
Uf I can't handle this much happiness.
I just hope that kidnapping case ends soon.
It started really good, the plot was interesting and the art was good but now I don't know what the author is doing and I don't even care anymore, they have crossed the line with this grooming sh*t.
