Am I the only one who feels like Alex doesn't really love Cole and also shows some sociopathic tendencies?
Like it feels like Alex is putting on a perfect boyfriend mask while actually not really feeling anything but maybe lust and spite towards him and a good example are the shots were Cole hugs him and he just stares blankly and even somewhat annoyingly instead of smiling or having a worried look
Another example kinda is when Lily asked Alex why he likes Cole and he repeated exactly what Cole said to him when he asked why he liked him, at first that might come of as really cute but the more I thought about it, it felt like he only said it because it was a perfect response to that question he picked up from Cole (like something a sociopath would kinda do)
And then there's also the fact he had thoughts of choking Cole to harm him and even in the most recent chapter did do so
I have a couple more examples but I think you get the gist lol

No i think you're right. I think the only reason Alex was with Cole was because he "liked looking down on others" like Brad said in the manga. Alex found enjoyment in being with Cole because Cole wluld do "degrading" things like suck him off or let Alex do him etc.
That's why he was pissed when Lily was interested in Cole and not him, he felt inferior to Cole.
Also, Cole literally pointed a gun at him and he still stayed with him no problems but as soon as Cole cheated on him he tried to kill Cole. Because he felt like Cole was the one looking down on him instead.
Idk if it's right. But that's what i think about Alex's feelings. He isn't "in love" with Cole, he just likes feeling superior.

The exact genre that KS uses has existed for ages and yall are acting like it's the first of its kind when there were other, although mostly non-bl, webtoons that have the same genre and are pretty simillar to it
And like hell even then, before KS there existed dark BL webtoons (Take Warehouse as an example)
Maybe it's true they took a lot of inspiration from KS or even are trying to cash in on it's popularity, but it's still a different story and you should treat it as such (unless they were completly ripping off KS, but that isn't the case here)
