ScratchTrash created a topic of Jinx

The only reason I am keeping up with this is in hopes of JK getting poisoned then hit by a car and fighting for his life, I wouldn't even feel bad for him I'd just find it so fucking funny
The guy could get his arm amputated and I could view it as peak comedic cinema tbh

Listen I am whatever abt smut scenes but I want to see Jigu whimper
That man is the most submissive top I have ever laid my eyes upon, Yeonwoo could be sliding up and down his dick and not be the one moaning like a girl in this situation istg

I'm sorry but this shit is pure comedy gold how is it taking itself so seriously from begining to end that is just so funny to me

I will preface by saying that the prior artist can rot. It's good they got replave and I am purely going to talk abt the art style seperated from the artist.

I think the reason a lot of people heavily dislike the art style is because it emphasizes much more on trying to look aesthetically pleasing just like almost every other BL. And there is nothing wrong with this type of style, it functions, it looks fine but what it misses is it's own identity, it's own style. And this is where the prior art style came in because it was oozing with it's own style and did something more unique than a lot of other BL manhwas. (Which isn't to say there isn't a good amount of BL manhwa with an unique style but in comparision to the more aesthetic ones they r rlly in the minority)
Emotions, movements, etc. were composited in a very different and more interesting way than you'd see in a usual more "aesthetic" BL.
While I don't hate this new art style, I think it's weaker in terms in illustrating and setting apart the story, in comparision to the old one.
I think the new art doesn't deserve hate but I get why some people are frustrated over this change.

I am curious about all of your opinions though :3

This geniunly reads like an edgelord revenge fantasy shounen manga but make it BL and honestly? The 14 yo within me digs it. It's not good at all but it's quite enjoyable to say the least

ScratchTrash created a topic of King's Maker

Season 1 was absolute peak 10/10
Season 2 was still quite good imo, it expanded on the world and had a strong story (not as strong as s1 but it still invested me)
Season 3... Bro they should have just focused on Epsilon, it just felt like a bundle of side stories mushed together while in the midst of trying to tell a more important narrative. And imma be honest I did not care about any of the side story stuff that much. It feels like wasted potential to not have it revolve solely around Epsilon + her dads and how the kingdom slowly begins to change. Also the magic disappearing thing vould have been handled way better or shouldn't have been a thing to begin with but I digress.
Anyways, it's s3 isn't awful but in vomparision to s2 & 3 it's a let-down.

Listen I want the villain couple to get their ass team rocket blasted into prison but I'd also most deffo want an entire sequel manhwa where they break out and cause chaos away from the main couple (please let them be happy omg I love them so fucking much if anything happens to them shfunajs)

I'm curious on how the one manga website that tends to be more critical of shi like this has this rated so highly lol

ScratchTrash answered question about question
I mean have seen actual literal masterpieces BLs get rated low but not for having not enough smut but for having very dark/traumatic content in it and people not being able to take in that stuff with problematic content can be very good if it's done tastefully and not in a manner of romanticization or just to be fucked up I don't think that's not ......
ScratchTrash created a topic of Blue Quicksand

This needs way more than 6 chapters. It is a really intriguing story but sadly it gets limited by the little amount of time it can build itself up, thus not being able to be fleshed out more which this typa story deffo needs
Also not a lot of people are talking about how mc is also just an absolutely awful person like the guy didn't seem to have a problem with getting a father killed (who yes is horrible too but mc didn't even know nor care abt that) and slapping that father's child in the face right afterwards, the guy has probably done some actual horrible shit. And he doesn't seem to have changed or even want to change into a better person either. I fw his characterizarion such a shame it's kinda wasted here
But yeah I read it as a what comes around goes around story where both are absolutely awful people.

ScratchTrash asked a question

Does anybody know a BL with a boyfailure seme lol

ScratchTrash answered question about question
Tried my best to make the little fictional gay people that live rent free in my head every day

Some of you all see a character inconvenience the main character/couple and straight up hating them to the point of wanting them dead not even considering any complexity the story might have given them
This is both about blondie, who yes does do a ton of stupid crap but considering his circumstances and from a writing perspective it make sense and abt the villain couple which like have so much potential for their own spin off story I am not even joking. I enjoyed their characters tremendously I cannot believe so many people here want them dead lol. I realize they are trying to kill mc but these bitches act like cartoon villains with more braincells, they are way too fun to just die plz

It's fine to dislike a character, just kinda find it sad some here either don't realize why they act the way they do or try to get invested in any way in them because they aren't the main characters which kinda sucks but oh well ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I dropped Banana Fish because the ending was spoiled to me ️
ScratchTrash created a topic of One Night Mate

I'm mixed on how I feel about this story because on one hand it has a very interesting and good potrayal of an avoidant attachment style (and also probably autistic lol) person and them slowly starting to be able to have a more secure attachment style, I'd love to read more stories exploring things like that
On the other hand, GOD IT IS GENIUNLY PAINFUL TO READ. Like reading the last 15 or so chapters just made me feel physical pain because these characters cannot clear cut communicate if their life depended on it. Which listen in this case it's kinda more realistic but godsdamn I was suffering hard <3

Ok but hear me out: Heteronormativity plays a big part imo. The uke tends to be shown as weaker/meek within the story as well as his design most of the time (like having a feminine and petite appearance for example) and hell even within the cover of the story making one automatically (yet maybe subconciously) think of how women also get treated wit......
ScratchTrash created a topic of Two in Six Billion

Just re-read it and gosh I love queer psychological thriller stories
It does not try to romanticise Oda and his actions towards Katou at all, it's all shown like a nightmare come true towards Katou
I wish this hadn't been a one-shot because I feel it could have been a geniune masterpiece had we been shown a slower descent into madness with both these characters.
Neithertheless, it is a very unique story and I'm still glad it exists
