I think you should do your research. They are not really criminals, it’s just that our Constitution is full of loop holes. If you are an enemy of the admin then they find every loop hole they can find to put you in jail or put you out of business. So many politicians are acquitted criminals yet they are in office. Even the drug lords are not in jail even if their names are out there. (⌒▽⌒)

No, you're the one who should do their research. They broke the law so they're criminals. I'm not saying their employees are, but the ones at the top. From the very start, the Lopez' method of acquisition of the company from Cory after she became president was not done legally. I don't even know why the Aquinos are supported. I'd rather have a president who speaks crudely but sincerely does his best for the betterment of the country than those who speak eloquently but only does things that will give them personal benefits. I'd rather determine first whether the basis of my principles are factual or not. I don't trust the media blindly because they can conceal or manipulate the information while the people would listen incessantly. Let me remind you again that we are in the midst of a pandemic. You can’t just easily find a new job since most companies are cutting costs. Are you already working? Because if you aren’t, then I guess that’s what makes you apathetic to those workers. The government only favors their allies. Haven’t you heard of Sinas or Pimentel??? They have committed violations during the quarantine but they were never punished because they are allies of those in power. Agreed. In the first place, if they actually cared more about their employees, then they would've tried their hardest to pay off their debts and pay their taxes. They would've ensured that their company was sincere and transparent so that no one can ever say anything about their company. They would've ensured that so that their employees are guaranteed to have a stable job! But they didn't! They just stuffed their wallets and pockets and now the time has come for them to pay and they couldn't! Their employees are victims because they depended upon them, they were fooled because they thought that ABS-CBN would be a company who would give them a brighter future!

Hi, they did! They have filed for the renewal years ago but were purposely ignored since it was the admin’s wish to put a stop to their network. I wish you would also research first before commenting. What the congress has presented during the hearings were all the loop holes they could find but honestly if you apply the laws to all of the corporations in the Philippines, i doubt there would be any big corporations left. That’s just how it is because our Constitution really needs revising but that would be difficult since the people in power can abuse it. Let’s all be informed citizens of our country.
