It's just sad. Though the ML didn't tell the MC about his species, he didn't expect to grow like that since he thinks he's defective, he thinks low of himself especially on how his relatives is bullying him. But MC is quite harsh on that one ngl. He is also in fault in this, assuming things and his parents for not saying too.
Emotionally, ML is pitiful. But in this situation, ML is wrong to force this but this is the only chance he got, the not-so-right-option-but-might-got-the-happy-ending
