He's trying to solve himself first before the others that is why he don't give attention to Seme and thinks of him as annoying, He only met this man and doesn't know anything about him.

The reason they have to switch at first night was because the princess is not a virgin. That might cause a serious "problem" so they had to switch with someone who's looks like the princess and is virgin. Which they're lucky cause they found one.
I'm actually suspecting that her knight is her sex partner or maybe secret lover. I'd been sus with him when they exchange looks. Or maybe the princess is liberated with many men she had slept with.
