i mean that's the pattern i see in these kinds of stories,, do u know the hamster manhwa? the mc can transform only after he does missions or smth, but also magic exists in that world. since there's magic in this world, i definitely think mc will be able to transform (i mean duke would be a weirdo if he got into a relationship with just a bird + it wouldn't really be bl LMAO)
but yeah that seems interesting, i think duke is the ml cuz he is shown in the cover and is the first good looking character to interact with mc
