Harada's got the

Ikr, I read a lot of Harada works, it's fucked up. but it never romanticizing nor normalizing rape, sexual assault and abuse.

harada never dissappoints with the fucked up, psychological rape stories. and I love them for that. It's unpolished, creepy and disturbing. really awesome in it's own way. 'harada' is actually a genre for itself lmao

harada doesn't try and gaslight their readers into sympathizing with the fucked up characters and actions that occur in their work, and i can respect that. harada knows and we the readers know that we're in it to read some disturbing shit.

my point was i'm tired of half-assed "pls feel sorry for this pedo/abuser/criminal" stories that don't treat these themes with the gravitas they deserve and just use them as plot devices that are hand-waved away for a "happy ending".

anyways if anyone wants to read a version of this story that's like 100x better written check out harada's nii-chan but p l s heed the content warnings

yeah I completely agree w you and that is why I really like harada. the works are unique because the story is not romantic or equipped with a pink romance filter. they are real and disturbing because of that. I really enjoy reading them because I really ytsrat to get annoyed by these romanticized violence stories (like Stockholm syndrome and psychological stuff is okay as long as it is displayed realistically, but not like omg I was haunted by that rape that occurred in my childhood and it changed me completely and all but then after realizing that the dude he likes is the rapist he be like omg I love you and you did nothing wrong I actually always loved you because you raped me ... like no)

and yes I read nii-chan and it was really great I remember. I liked it a lot

but my favorite will always be Immoral sex.

that one is so SATISFYING!! we don't want forgiveness we want sweet, sweet REVENGE
