The author said that mf was a heterosexual meaning he is straight and into FEMALES ONLY surprise sUrpRisE right ? He wasn’t even romantically/sexually into YOONBUM he only let him live was because he reminded him of his mother... HIS MOTHER and once again the author even said so they make it quite clear that yoonbum reminded sangwoo of his mother so ??? Your post really doesn’t make sense to me at all like ??? That Bum reminded him of his mom and that Sangwoo is straight are both shown in the manga, not sure why you're presenting that like it's even evidence. Let's look at the manga, in it Sangwoo has sex with Bum and stops having Bum dress like his mother. Him being straight would be good counter evidence to whether or not he loves Bum if we didn't see ourselves that Bum is the exception to that. He questions his sexuality because of Bum. Same with "he's reminded of his mom", eventually that becomes less dominant in their relationship, that's just why he didn't kill Bum *at first*. He stops having Bum dress like his mom and starts to try to please Bum. But yeah, different opinions I guess, since you're only looking at some of what's there.

I’m wondering where sangwoo questions his sexuality ??? He even said so himself that he’s not gay ???... so ? Sangwoo was also very VERY much reminded and COMPARING his mother to yoonbum through out the story till almost the very end. He also was becoming even MORE insane towards the end of the story reliving his past and comparing it. You’re post made me a little confused reading it but that’s probably just me. But yeah different opinions I guess, since you’re really looking at barely anything there.

Hi I’m here to say that some of what you’re saying makes no sense. You said, and I quote,”Bum reminded him of his mom and that Sangwoo is straight are both shown in the manga, not sure why you're presenting that like it's even evidence.” if it was SHOWN in the MANGA it is EVIDENCE!! You also said that sangwoo stopped making bum wear his moms clothes, which is true, but lets not forget he STILL compares him to his mom well towards the end of the comic (for example chapter 56, 11 chapters before the comic ended, he called yoonbum MOM while doing the deed). You also said that we SAW it ourselves that bum is an exception to him being straight, please do tell me where we saw it because reread the last 20 chapters just now and truly saw nothing. And please tell me where he questions his sexuality when he and the author full on said he isn’t gay. Lets also not forget chapter 63 (4 chapters before the comic ended) where there were CLEAR signs of bum getting abused and when he used bum as bait. And tbh sangwoo was going absolutely haywire towards the end while he was reliving his past and what his mom did to him so... imo I still think it was more of an unhealthy kind of obsession than any type of love.. but yeah, different opinions I guess, since you’re barley looking at what’s ACTUALLY there.

Yeah, the quote's not contradicting, you just didn't comprehend what I said. I said "it's not evidence ANYMORE". For the reasons stated in that reply. Him being straight is obviously no longer evidence because we've seen ourselves that his sexuality makes an exception for Bum. Every time they have sex or mess around is what we saw, sexuality refers to sex. The argument that "he usually only wants sex with females, therefore he didn't love Bum even though he had sex with him multiple times, indicating the sexuality argument is null ("he's straight").

Putting that aside, Sangwoo questions his sexuality when he gets turned on by Bum, he ends up going to the bar and encountering that gay guy who tries to get Sangwoo to suck his dick. Sangwoo panics and knocks him out, then takes him home to kill with Bum. If you weren't sure, why would you even argue this?

"He calls him mom while they have sex". I was talking about all scenes like this, they start to die down and he starts to court Bum. I said "it dies down" and you replied with an instance of it happening, what? Yeah, he's psychotic and has PTSD flashbacks to his mom raping him. He's very confused sexually by her. To sit there and imply he's just in love with her is blatantly retarded when we see he initially just looked at her as his mother and he was disgusted by his mom.

"He abused Bum". In a normal relationship, with a person who isn't mentally I'll, this would be a valid argument about whether or not he feels love for Bum. Here it's not. Honestly, see above. He's mentally ill, all his psychotic behavior has to do with his childhood, how his dad abused him and his mom raped and blamed her suicide on him. Yes, he has outbursts, that doesn't mean that when he's feeling calm he doesn't feel love for Bum. It's like arguing that a person with schizophrenia can't love someone because they occasionally forget them and have outbursts. No, that's just... what happens when your mind is destroyed.

See my reply to Jello_joonie. You're presenting the ending while in the same sentence saying he started to have an outburst. Yeah, when he was calm he showed he loved Bum and when he started to break down again he saw things related to his breakdown, his mother.

So sure, you have a point that yes sangwoo is probably sexually attracted yoonbum, as in yoonbum is an exception to him being straight but I think that it’s just that, it’s JUST sexual attraction. And thanks for explaining btw! I looked back at that chapter and I guess he did question it a bit. But just being sexually attracted to yoon and having sex with him doesn’t 100% mean that it’s love. You can definitely have sex without love involved.

I guess you could say that sangwoo comparing yoon to his mom died down since be stopped having to wear the moms clothes, but what I’m trying to say is that it barley does, it’s still a strong point even towards the end of the story. But I guess it makes sense since she is kind of the base of the story. I read this just now and you're actually kind of decent, it looks like you're willing to talk. I only read the 1st sentence and decided not to bother, but now I feel I was too harsh.

So, if me saying "retarded" offended you, I apologise. Personally, I don't get the offense since the word is used outside of referring to down syndrome very regularly, the word literally means slow and I was using the literal definition, but if that offends you then I'm sorry.

You had made it seem like Sangwoo was ONLY with Bum because of how he's reminded of his mother and you're *also* arguing that Sangwoo doesn't love Bum, that it's just a sexual relationship. Meaning you're saying he's using Bum to have sex with his mother, which I don't believe is the case. I took this to mean you think Sangwoo is in love with his mother.

The bit about his sexuality looks resolved. I know that sex =/= love, but Sangwoo taking him on dates and treating him the way he did implied so. He's Sangwoo's captive, no need for dating to rape him. Since I don't believe Sangwoo was in love with his mother, because he's shown to be disgusted by her, I can only assume the dates were for BUM, not his mother.
