hellooo! As someone who read this more than once here is my two cents:
I really loved this manhwa, I remember I just started bawling my eyes out seeing euijoon crying bc our baby boy was suffering for no reason. I smiled throughout reading it so much because their interactions were so cute, euijoon just needed someone to love him and he deserves that as much as the next person. I think ahjuicy obviously isn’t the perfect seme but let’s not forget that he is literally a mafia dude and compared to the other mafia semes he’s like an angel. Ahjuicy wasn’t even necessarily gay since he’s only been with women, he just fell in love with euijoon (tbh this kind of happens often in bl where the guy falls in love with a the same sex person despite only being with the opposite gender such as in sunny days) so ahjuicy isn’t fully sure of his feelings. His speech can be harsh sometimes but I feel like thats just how he is as a person. So I don’t feel like he’s a one dimensional character. Tbh when he left for like 4 years it was kind of strange like bro couldn’t make one phone call?? LOL but it does make it more dramatic. I love that the author took a lot of time for euijoon to forgive him but let’s be honest euijoon is stronger than half of us I would’ve given in so fast LMAO especially if I was in a deadbeat relationship with some random dude. Overall, even with the flaws in this story it’ll forever be one of my favorites. It is such an easy read like a slice of life but it also have a great amount of angst <3 this is just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt and happy 2025

Y’all I’m not sure if I’m misunderstanding but tbh I’m proud of Noah for getting the surgery. He’s standing his ground and showing the ml that he doesn’t need him!! Like he was once in love with him but it’s over between them, I think breaking the bond will show the ml that he truly likes Noah and it wasn’t superficial due to the bond. And tbh it’s pretty messed up that Noah is constantly being raped by him due to their bond (even though I know Noah did talk to him about that) THEREFORE without the connection the ml would actually need to put effort in to build their relationship again. But please let me know if I misunderstood something <3 ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I thought it was a no brainer that the mc would end up with the second lead especially after the first lead straight up raped the mc!!! Like I was about to be so mad and drop this story if the mc somehow still chooses the first dude. So I’m happy that the author at least had some sense BUT the people rooting for the first lead is crazy I get that he has some traits that make him likable (according to the author too) however it still does not excuse him from all the shit he’s done to the mc.
I read the spoilers and my heart hurts for ahjin, he never deserved to suffer like this. our baby literally deserves the world
Genuinely I’ve never felt so much pain reading a bl…. But at the same time I really did enjoy, there was no sugarcoating and the rape and the violence was difficult to read it also made the story more powerful. Like bro I was just expecting a high school romance not a whole decade long revenge plot . I really love the mc, he didn’t deserve any of that shit I hope in his next life he never meets any of those bastards and just becomes a lawyer so he can live happily with his dad lmaooo the ml had a big ass character development which was definitely nice to see but bro the pain he caused the mc was just hard to read however at least he forever obsessed with him. This bl will always have a special place in my heart, I fr cried like crazy

For many Asian cultures phoenixes and dragons are usually embroidered onto traditional wedding clothing or items as a sign of marriage. So it’s a really cute touch that the author only showed two phoenix on the blanket which I think the author wanted to represent as marriage between the same sex! (▰˘◡˘▰) small detail but so meaningful <3
our mc is a such a cutie potatootie the scenes where he’s eagerly cleaning is so adorable ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ and him being petty towards jerk mugo is so fun and cute I can’t (≧∀≦)
