I think it is best to think that whenever she call him “Father”, you should add “of the villain” at the end of it too. The most likely reason why she keep calling him Father is that he was the future villain’s father when she read the novel and it was just too long to say and was shortened to Father and the habit just stayed with her.

I mean I get where you coming from, but to me it just too funny and amusing then off-putting. For the same reason the other comment said she is not calling him her father, she is calling him the father of the future villain that will be born that she need to stop. and to see him all confuse is super funny to me XD

dont worry the prince will ask her why she calls him that and tell her to not addressed him as such since he aint married and has no children yet lol he too cute.
