I am not saying Hyesung is a good guy, it's sad when a parent can't love their own child, but that's life! You can't force this kinda thing. I think your taking this was to serious. The chance of the family getting back together is nearly a 100% anyway. Besides the way the story was progressing before the childbirth showed that the uke fell in love with the seme. Does he really wanna leave then?he didnt even take the money. That shows that he himself is probably confused about what he wants. I think there is to much going on in his head. And he needs time and help with that. Right now he obviously isnt getting that help. The trauma with his own mom is weighing him down the most. I think he needs to find his mom and talk with her, but he cant do that alone. And i also think that the uke doesnt hate his child but is confused. He didnt even look at his kid yet, im sure that when he does he will immediatly fall in love. That is probably why he didnt look, the trauma with his own mom is still burning inside his mind. He needs help to get over that trauma. The reason why he cant face his child yet is because he still has a lot of stuff left to fix himself. Familystuff. He got a baby before he could 'grow up' and face those problems. yeah i see what you're saying but the main thing as to why hyesung is like the way he is , is because this baby wasn't his like decision... he was terrified with the thought and ik there were some people saying oh he wanted the sex but he didn't at that time and i consider it rape but not extreeme rape. i can see why he's like that to his child, all his dreams if running away and living on his own then having to he tied down by a child. forsure he'll love the child as this story will hopefully have that plot. But he doesn't want that. Have you ever been forced to do something you really didn't want to do, like be forced to eat something? At first you'd be mad that they forced on you, even though you made it VERY clear that you didn't want it. Later as time passes you go "it wasn't that bad," but still a little hurt that you're feelings were completely disregarded. Next you may look back and may regret that you made such a big deal about it.
Now put that on a larger more personal scale, like lets say pregnancy. First you were force to have sex. You find out that he is an okay guy, but he raped you, so their will be some hard feelings to get past. Next you find out that though sex, that you were still unsure of, that your pregnant. You tell the guy "Hey I'm not ready or want this baby," the guy says "I want it, I'll take care of it, and you can go after you give birth to it." You agree that the guy has a say in this, since it's also his child, so you have the child. During your whole pregnancy the guy keeps trying to force you to stay with him, even though you made it clear you are not emotionally read for this. You give brith, you still have the deal to be able to leave after giving brith, the guy tries to force you to look at the child in hopes of guilt tripping them to stay. You make it double clear that you don't want to be apart of their lifes, by leaving with no clothes, home, and no money promised. You think he will be a great parent to this child if forced to be there?
Now maybe over time he will come to love the child, but how long will it take? 7 years? 2? 18 months? Children develop a lot faster then I think you give them credit for. Being in such an unstable environment will cause the child problems in the future. The 2 main couple in this story have been shown to argue constantly, they also do things on whim when together, they show possessiveness towards eachother, and have conflicting views on situations. All of these traits will then be passed on to the child as a normal, healthy relationship. Children should not have to play the waiting game for a parent to develop feeling for them.
But worry not judging from the author's previous work, she tends to love when to dysfunctional couples end up together. Also this is fiction so why should we worry about a fictional child, right? It's not like impressionable people read this, right? And take this as some long drawn out love story, and will inevitably end happily as what might happen to themselves and lthink their life will end up just as happily, right? It's not like studies have been shown that romantizaing such events acutely leave a impact on people.
