I'm not a big fan of Carol loving her first cousin, cause you know insect. But I do know people in real life who are half brother and sister and are married and have 3 kids...... nice people and kids are fine but still grosses me out. It's a genetic thing.
They aren't direct cousins though, they are distantly related. And honestly, I'm sure a lot of people have distant cousins they aren't even aware of. Meaning it's far enough not to be considered incest, even for cultures that don't condone first cousin marriages.
Anyway, plenty of cultures have their own views on what constitutes incestuous relations or not. For some, marrying within your own clan, even if you have no blood relation, is considered incest.
Sorry if it seems like I'm personally directing this at you, I'm not. I'm just a little tired of people saying "ew cousin love is incest" because really, we should respect other peoples' cultures.
Though I still don't think cousin relationships apply here because Carol and Senpai, are again, distantly related. Senpai says Carol is the daughter of a distant relative, so they might not even be distant cousins but something else entirely.
It's fine I understand where you're coming from. Though Carol and the other guy look pretty similar. I guess it's the way I was raised and what I studied with anatomy and biology. In Japan I know their way more clam about it (and some places in the Americas).
Yeah I thought they looked similar too. Though I feel like it's probably because they are both European (I think). Carol is fully European from her Dad and Mom. And I assume Misaki is half, I forget if they ever mentioned this, but considering his name I'm gonna go with that.
Also this is a manga, so all European people will just be blond with light eyes, hence the similarity. It's still possible the two barely share the same blood.
And based on genetics, their kids wouldn't have any kind of deformities at all because of how different they are. I mean, I bet it's like a 1% similarity. Or 99% because apparently all humans share 99% of DNA. lollllllll

I am so sick of people telling others not to analyze this story cause it's FICTION. Have any of you taken a literature class? Have any of you seen Game of Thrones? Death Note? Fruit Basket? Lord of the Fies? Hell even The Sneetches?
I believe that every author (or story writer) has a point for wanting to tell there storylines. Whether it be just wanting to tell a story about a happy little girl wanting to buy a pair of shoes or a story about how everyone is corrupted. Sometimes an authors loss their point and can't get others to see or understand.
Now some might think that all this story's point is alpha and an omega becoming a family. Awww happy, small mided, ending. That's great for some people, but me (and hopefully more) think more of this author then some generic story. I like to think the author has something more meaningful.
I have yet to see anything but a story of two lost people both in mind and socially. I'm hoping it's a story redemption. The main character overcoming all diversity and coming out as a stable, strong, and independent person.
All I'm saying is that it's a slap to an authors face when you don't try to see more an dicks and nice faces. When an author brings a child and rape to the mix is when you can let people look a little harder at it.
YOU don't have to, but don't tell other NOT to. This is for topics and if people want to talk about thing relevant to the stroy then let them.

Ok I've been sitting on these thoughts for a while now. I've not been feeling any sympathetic feeling these main characters since they were first introduced in "If You Hate Me". I had high hopes for them since the being.
Hyesung has always been the character who has shown these characteristics, easley influenced, airhead, needy, moocher, weak willed, oblivious, gullible. He wants things handed to him without the work. When he does try to do things by himself he expects it to work immediately, when he goes right back to old habits. He gets upset about being raped and being with an alpha but HE CHOSE TO BE THERE!!! He could've easily left when Doji was gone. If it is the fact that he is an omega with no medical and no where to go, I'm sure that there are places to house and care for omega just like there are women shelters. I just can't feel sorry for him, he has stated since the being that he wanted a free ride in life. Now I wouldn't care about this (it would be a real funny story to see a person who keeps trying to get together with a rich dude and failing or even trying to seduce them) but he doesn't even try he just walks round for it to happen.
Now Doji is not an innocent angel either, he was first introduced in this story as an alpha who wasn't interested in omegas in the last. When he first met Hyesung he never met an omega that thought he was an alpha, so it sparked his interest. But you can't tell me no omega has never looked or had their pheromones around him. HE IS A RICH, GOOD LOOKING ALPHA!! He gave in waaaayyy to quickly in this, when everyone says how hard it is to persuade him to do anything when is mind is set. He is also a dude who didn't want an omega ever in his life, so what does he do? Make him live with him!! He also didn't want to use force on Hyesung, then keeps raping and stalking him. He also showed incredible self residence even in the midst of a heat directed at him (by putting on an condom even when Hyesung begged him to go in bareback) what happened to that? Now all he shows an assoholic bitch personality.
There has been no real love connection between the two just lust, jealousy, regret, anger, and obsession. I haven't seen any cute monents were the two had played off each others personality. Their like fire and gasoline. Their no good for each other, they don't change one another for the best. Only making each other worse. An obsessive love isn't a good kind of love, that love is what makes murder movies.
And people NO BABIES (even though it will happen anyways)!!! Childeren who grow up in these environments are what create them daddy issue kids. Don't think that if you're in a bad situation that bring a baby in it will help!! And I speak from experience! They are not ready for a kid they are both too much in their own world to take care of a clueless child! Hyesung can't even take care of himself! And Doji doesn't want a child because he want something that he can raise with all the love and care, he just wants it as a tool for manipulation.
Now one more thing before I go. Don't people tell me this if fiction and I don't need to look in to it. This is literature and I don't know if you have been in a reading class but in mine all we did was analyze books, comics, and even movies (when we all agrees that we were too lazy to read). And no "if you don't like it don't read it" either I do stuff all the time that I dislike like,read the newspaper, read "Scarlett Letter", "Romeo and Juliet", watch the news, and go to work. I want to see where this goes, I've invited too much time to this already to drop it!
