This is my favorite villainess-type manhwa ever. I tried hard but I could still not find a story that lived up to it.
This is gonna be a bit of a rant but bear with me please.
I’m honestly getting tired of the cheesy “I got reincarnated as some girl so I’m gonna help the tragic handsome duke/prince that I know nothing about because I’m just pure and kind like that.” He’ll be cold to her, she’ll pester him with jokes and funny faces, and that’s supposed to be charming. Not to mention she’s gonna blush 24/7 every time he does something like she’s a high schooler.
They were fun for a while, but now every high rated manhwa feels identical. Can we get a female lead that doesn’t end up being the same Mary Jane the manhwa is poking fun at? It feels like the fl gotta be either Einstein type of smart or a 6 year old these days. Why is there no middle ground?
For reference, my favorite reincarnation manhwa is The Villainess Reverses the Hourglass. The characters are intelligent and mature, not written like they’re from a teenager’s imagination. If you know anything similar, I’d love recommendations!

I love them but when are these side stories gonna end man I’m sick of waiting months just for another arc to last 50 chapters. The magic school arc was maybe the only one that I felt actually contributed to their relationship and was somewhat fun. Everything else is blurry.

I’m so sorry. I’ve tried to get behind this relationship so many times but I just can’t yes I know that it’s obviously fictional and overly romanticized but it just would never, EVER work in real life. It seems like it’s made for disaster, and I don’t know if it’s because I’m getting older or what, but I keep thinking of reasons why it would completely fall apart every time a character does something icky.
