i didn't think much about it cus I had something else to worry about but a few days ago i was in a call with my mama
and so we talked about some stuff including my the job my brother's doing. he's currently in a contract with a some-sort-of crypto company but he works remotely.
but apparently my ma kinda don't agree with working remotely as a 'genuine' job...? i get if he was a freelancer but he was in a contract so it's a stable job. i guess it's just her old mindset
but then she said with our degrees (im in business and he's in IT) she'd rather us being a fucking civil servant.
it was so out of the blue in a way that this whole time she and our dad just lets us who's an adult already to do and pick whatever job we wants. never once did they express or push an expectation for us to be a civil servant.
idk it's kind of throwing me off a bit at the moment. idk what the fuck she wants. one second she'll let us do whatever and then another she suddenly puts an expectation.
is this a normal personality for someone to have or is it valid that i go fucking insane with a parent like that?
