Maybe it's because I'm a revolutionary in the heart, but I dislike the fact that all the marines protect the celestial dragons even after seeing how terrible they are. How can you believe you are enforcing justice? Same for Garp, unfortunately. Although after he didn't save Ace during Marineford I had already stopped pitying him. Yet... I wished he was a different character. It seems that we can trust only dragon. Deadbeat father, sure, but at least he actually does something to save innocent people

Nº1 lover of this manhwa here, but this time... the novel was better. Hear me out, because the manhwa up to now is so much better in the narration and description of events, but here... it definitely went more for aura farming than for story telling.
When I read about Han discovering he was to be synthetized with Sirris in the novel, it was so emotional, it all made sense. Instead here we immediately go back to the lobby to follow the useless story of pink hair, who I can't even remember from the novel! Han was still thinking about the mysteries of the world and so on, making it all more tense, rather than a random girl immediately dying.
Sorry, but for the first time from the start novel > manhwa.
Still the whole focus on Nerissa is better here, I like it, let's continue on focusing on MAIN characters <3

Hi fellow novel readers, can you confirm me that this chapter isn't in the novel? I remember Han passing the position to Nerissa and that's it. Moreover the whole novel is from Han's pov more or less, so such a scene with Nerissa looking scary doesn't make much sense?
I swear, if you tell me this was in the novel I will look at a doctor for memory problems Σ(っ°Д °;)っ

I have read many manhwa with criticism against patriarchy, but most of all end up doing it halfway, either inserting useless comedy or dropping the topic once love is involved.
This is the only comic that actually depics many different experiences of women emancipation.
And when they said "if you look around, you will find us", I felt like the author was referring to younger girls in south Korea, Japan and many other Asian countries where feminist are seen as "man-haters" not to feel alone.
A 10/10 piece of literature, I swear, I cried by the end.
Also, the comment section clearly didn’t understand anything. Why there was no marriage? Why there was no child? Have any of you actually read this story or were you just there for the romance?
The whole point was about her indecision about marriage and having a child and till the end she says that she is not sure. In the end, sure, she says that she want to get married after a few years, but do people really think that seeing her marriage or her children was the right way to end THIS manhwa?
Then, I'm sorry, but you should re-read it from the start, because you didn't get the message.
An ending about every women's dream and reality is much more fitting.

Let's start by saying that I like this story a lot, so this isn't a hate comment.
I really can't stand the trope of "I was actually by your side, you just didn't know" or the one "I was bad up until now but I will give up my life to save you"
These tropes piss me off, because they are so rooted in catholic stigma that a sinner can do the worst ever and still be pardoned before his death. As someone who grew up catholic, I always hated it. You can't justify your bad action by just saying sorry or doing just one good action. And all the people that suffered for the bad actions? What about them?
So I can't forgive the 2nd ML who keeps being a dick up to the end, even not letting MC escape when they find her spying. He was planning to kill and betray the people he pretended to befriend. The fact that in the end he got attached to her doesn’t change the fact that he aided the killing of Valia or that he wanted to kill the dragon.
And I think that the blond auntie, who did it all for Valia's son as Valia was her friend, did everything wrong!
If your first thought is to ally to the person who killed your whole family and your friend just to keep that friend's child alive... you are either dumb or nuts. She could have aided the prince by allying with him and the temple by revealing the truth about Valia. She could have done so many things that weren't aiding the person who was trying to kill that child!
Like the moment the duke cursed him and she was just like "oh no". What were you expecting? He wished him dead and he is doing everything to kill him, were you so dumb not to realize it?
It just pisses me off soooo much.

NOT SPOILER THIS PART
I'm going to stop reading the light novel because this adaptation is so good that I realized it makes the story so much better.
Unfortunately the LN gets lost in translation, even if translated well, so it seems just the avarage korean shonen stuff.
But this webtoon, daaaamn!!! It’s so well done, it manages to portray everyone's emotions instead of creating stiff characters. Sometimes some dialogue are a bit longer in the LN, Han's reflections too, but overall the webtoon has a way better writing to me.
It went up to my top 2 webtoons, just before Omniscient Reader and dethroning Your Throne (ehm ehm, pun intended) ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
SPOILER stuff about the LN
ALSO let me complain about something Han does in 3 arcs from now (engraving arc). Could you stop trying to do solo levelling shit for 1 minute???? And I love that the author punishes him for that loool
But really, I hope the adaptation will make even the pigeon sidekick bearable, because I hate so much annoying mascots ( ̄ε(# ̄)Σ

Guys, this feels like there is a prequel about Kyle (the brother). It's as if this one is the spin off, but I can't find a prequel anywhere.
In the first chapter the context of the setting and the relationship between characters of the marquis house is completely skipped, this is why I think there must be a prequel somewhere.
(like Here U are is actually a sequel, but not many know)

Ok so apparently I was right lol

The plot is a bit all over the place. It almost seems like the story of the first chapter and of the last one were written by two different authors. Or did the author change the plot at some point?
Ewwww, I have so many things to complain about that I just think that people should read it by themselves to understand why there aren’t many positive comments.
(IF I SUFFERED YOU MUST SUFFER TOO!!!!)
I started reading this with no expectation, instead it is actually good? Not at the level of Omniscient Reader or Pick me up, but enough to be interesting.
There is no harem, actually everyone hates the MC lol
There is one love interest, while the other girl on the cover is his sister (no weird romance stuff between them, just siblings)
It is a bit shallow in the sense "Look how overpower I am!", but at least the plot is not boring.
I reccomend it if you don’t have much to read, don’t expect Shakespeare, but it is ok
