I know it may come from nowhere, but I would like for this comment section to be a safe space. On twitter it's impossible to talk about orv because of the attack from kpoo fans and I'm very tired of arguing with peoole whose justification is "I don't care about the plot, all I care is about is my favorite actor" or "this webtoon is a flop, it will become relevant only thanks to *mention actor*"
Like, for real, I need a space where people genuinely care about this webtoon as much as I do.

Yeah, they are going to change the names to Japanese ones and make everything set in Japan. I bet they're going to skip Korea vs. Japan arc or completely remake it. I mean I do like anime, I used to be a huge otaku in my teens and early 20s. But this is an adaptation I don't really want to happen.
I wish Korea could start their own anime studio, and maybe outsource Japanese animators. China is making some good animation, so why not Korea? They have so many good webtoons to adapt.
Oh, but well, I guess they adapt their webtoons into kdramas by the way there were rumors about a movie trilogy adaptation of ORV for quite a while. Definitely going to be better than the anime.

Korea has so many interesting stories and I don't understand why they get all adapted by japanese studios. Do they think foreign fans are going to turn away just because it's a korean animation and not Japanese? Do they know how popular MDZS and TGCF are even if the are chinese?
I already hated the first episode of solo levelling because it looks like the random japanese isekai instead of THE solo levelling. But at least I'm not attached to it as much as Orv. If they ruin Orv I'm gonna kms.

seeing how solo leveling is going I don't think so, they still have their Korean names and so far no mentions of japan. I'm pretty sure the show will end around the arc Korea and japan team up so we'll see
