7 chapters in and havent undestood anything except FL marrying ML and sending her brother to the academy.
I cant believe I slept on this masterpiecee!! I love each and every one of the characters, the action, and the pacing of the story! Cant wait for more updates
It kinda felt fast paced(?) towards the end and uhh I dont know why but the fight between MC and his rival felt uhh unsatisfying.. Like theres something missing.. Well anyways still had fun reading this
I cant forgive the author for introducing a character that fell and helped the FL who was still grieving just for him to lose to a man FL knew for a month and basically abandoned her for two whole years.
Also I dont like how the FL easily forgave the ML. Like girl he faked his death and didnt tell you and left you to grief and fend for yourself for two whole years, and you just forgave him because he gave you puppy eyes?? Like whatt
I have a different perspective tho. FL knows rhat this is a contract marriage and he’s her boss . It doesn’t look like they are inlove and they were together for 1 month only.
Its not like a marriage of love and your husband that you love literally faked his death and left you for 3 years. I would be mad tho but they don’t have that kind of deep relationship yet. She may like him that’s why she reacted that way when he died but she’s not fully aware of it. Idk but that’s what I felt while reading
Ive been putting this on pause after MC was pushed out of the carriage and was falsely accused by ML and now Ive decided to look at the comments but it seems its been going downhill. Can someone tell me the recent events of the story so I can decide whether or not to drop this
SPOILER ALERT
Major point points, definite spoilers. Basically Wangye gets annoyed at him and ignores him and treats him like shit Bc of the emperor and he still tries to make up and he tries to give him the red bear that’s meant for your love and he crushes it under his foot. That shit pissed me the fuck off. And then he leaves the mansion stays with the emperor. Then wangye rebels and is the new emperor and is trying to win him back. He feels so terrible at his life and takes poison to die. I think this would have been a fitting end for a tragedy but they’re milking it so he comes back and he’s still trying to win him over. But he’s pretending his doesn’t remember wang ye. So yeah that’s about it. I don’t think it’s worth to pick back up honestly. I read this all in one night and I only continued just to finish at that point. Won’t be continuing it when more chapters come but it’s up to you whether you do. So much drama though.

Ah the only thing interesting me is him trying to win MC back so I may or may not pick it up until that point and drop it after but other than that everything really is sht. Im sad that this story turned out like this when it had so much potential<(￣ ﹌ ￣)>

Please the ML is so bland compared to miss Charlotte over there who can make every reader beg to be stepped on just from her first appearance
