depends on what you mean by better? i think it's totally worth the read and there are many instances when the fl chooses her own destiny like she repeatedly chose the war hero instead of the crown prince, however remember that she is still deeply hurt and throughout the story so far the people she lives with are the absolute worst and say words that would hurt like hell, but she still has the faintest hope that they would finally love her is she listened obediently and did her duty. but the ml is good to her, making her realize her worth and, even though it's not the end yet, in the latest chapters she finally stands up for herself in front of her father and vocalizes breaking ties with this household. i really like the fl, she just needed someone to truly love and support her, after being spat venom at her whole life.
this is a natural character progression imo

8.9 isn't really that low. Its good if you like dense FL and ML falling in love first. I struggle to call it a slowburn, more like a nonexistent burn then suddenly catches fire around chapter 70 lol. I actually really enjoy this one, the FL is quite likeable and cute (but I love dense FLs). Only reason I could think someone might not like it is that the FL is a reincarnator and ML was a normal (neglected) child which some people dislike in isekai.
