I read somewhere that the situation is quite messy. We have Anette (Duke daughter real body with fake soul) our current MC and Sekina (Real daughter soul and fake body).
Shekina the real daughter made a pact with the Demon of Void in the first timeline but she lost her soul and now our current MC soul is in Shekina’s body. Here’s a long spoiler for the upcoming chapters until the end of Manhwa raws chapter 92/93.
It started with Zedgar, Duke Kyrimov’s son from his first wife who was situated in Patrochnesis, a place faraway from Kyrimov Duchy. If you’re asking why he was there and not living at the duchy? Well you can ask me later for follow up spoiler. Anyway he traveled down to Holy land to meet up a mercenary as per Duke Mayee’s instructions. The mercenary gave Zedgar a cameo brooch with Petra Del Mayee’s portrait. It is said that when a family gave you a cameo brooch with their family’s lady portrait then it means you are to be betrothed to that family. Petra del Mayee is Duke Mayee’s granddaughter or daughter (I’m not so clear about this). He’s using anyone possible at his disposal!(Fck you Duke Mayee!) So the mercenary gave Zedgar a cameo brooch and a red garment to be used during the New Year’s prayer at the city center. But the red garment is to be given to Lionelle his brother. Once he sees that person wearing it, he should touch him while chanting some words to activate spell and that person will start burning. So what happened next is Pavel saw him walking anxiously at the plaza while New Year’s eve parade was ongoing. Pavel went to check up on him and asked him if he wants to stay in his house while Zedgar was on pilgrimage (this was his reason why he’s currently on Holy Land wandering). So he said to arrange for him a separate quarters outside coz he doesn’t want to disturb Duke Kyrimov and Lionell which were both currently staying at Pavel’s mansion. Next day he sent the red garment to Pavel’s mansion to be given to Lionell as a gift. The butler gave it to Lionell. Fortunately Ulique was there with him. She saw the inscription on the belt and told the butler that the gift must’ve been mistakenly given to Lionell. So here’s another scenario, second heir to Labino-Palais dukedom named Aktaon (Axion/Axiom) was the representative of Duke Labino-Palais invited to New Year’s celebration at the Holy Land. And guess what? He has the same cameo brooch of Petra del Mayee. Unfortunately this one is the fake one given by Pavel’s men disguised as Duke del Mayee’s people. Aktaon thinking he’s going to get married to Duke del Mayee’s daughter/granddaughter was very proud of himself coz this is the only way to overthrow the current heir to Labino-Palais dukedom, Keitan. He was currently staying at Pavel’s mansion as well. He met Lionell and Ulique. Fast forward to the new year’s event. When Duke Kyrimov left to go to the event area, Aktaon followed next. Ulique has a very high perceptive of things and so she asked Lionell not to send anyone to clean the second floor of the mansion coz she’s gonna check Aktaon’s room secretly. Since yesterday after meeting them and telling him they have the prospect of marriage, Aktaon’s face was somewhat unusual. Like he’s looking down on their relationship. Anyway she found out the cameo brooch with Petra’s face. Now that’s why Aktaon was looking down on their relationship. He has Duke del Mayee as backer. She put it back then informed Leo not to go out of his room upon His Holiness Sienn’s instructions. He will surely gonna get mad at him and not to go against the wishes of his brother Pavel and his father. But because he’s very stubborn, he still went. He was thinking he has to do something. Everyone including Ulique, his brother and his holiness are protecting him and he felt useless. Going back to Ulique, she went to the central to look for Sienn to inform him about the brooch but on the way he saw Zedgar’s unusual movements. She followed him and then bam! She saw everything! From touching that person until the person ignites.
