Ok so i just realized basically love and zero have bit similarities in this situation, he make peach unconsciously took a blow/fight with others so they could protect them but ironically love act like zero when he actually despises him. I mean it's like he taking advantages of peach and almost forgot the main reason why he hate zero so much. But overall, love and zero just taking advantages to protect themself but in different situations, zero want someone all to himself and love just need a love (no pun intended here) here.
