I kinda sympathize with the emperor, cause it’s clear he was probably brain washed but ignorance can also be a sin, how are you the emperor and you weren’t able to protect your child and still can’t?? Bro couldn’t even FIND her, it’s best to leave her with the Duke cause even if the emperor took her back, he’d just put her right back in danger. He needs to find a way to get rid of the empress before even THINKING of bringing his daughter home
