I think it's weird to put it that way that you're happy that the MLs are starting to see there was no actual reason for liking Ibelin. I don't think love needs a reason so I don't think this is how the story should go, it should be more of them just falling out of love naturally. By this logic, the magician would have to come up with reasons as to why he love Latte, which is a bit weird IMO. He just likes her because she's her.

yes, but they mainly loved ibelin with knowing little about her... the only reason they do like ibelin, at least in this version, is because of the magic the story puts on them. like everytime we see ibelin with the boys there isn’t really enough of an exchange between them for them to be “in love”... she doesn’t ever directly reciprocate their feelings and tbh i think the only way she portrays herself is naive and helpless. people are happy that the MLs are realizing they never liked her in the first place because this means they can be their own person and not just be controlled by the story.

But like- they were just attracted to her it wasn’t like love or anything sooo ofc I’m happy. The only reason they even liked her was cause of the stories magic sooo- that’s how I view it

You just don't really have reasons to like people - it's quite cold to work that way

But in Ibelins case- she’s the type of person he would normally find annoying so that’s why he’s like- why Df did I like her, feel me?
