The translation isn't the problem or at fault for the story being or feeling off in this particular manhwa case.. From the spoilers I read, the story really goes as the manhwa translation is.. Bit weird how the original lila was possessed by someone, then they ran away and somehow magically able to seduce a noble and married him..the storyline and characters are poorly written..

It feels like a cut and paste collage of an idea instead of a well written pace by pace progress.. It's a bit sad when translation are immediately blamed when some stories were originally bad in itself and the translation was pretty on point.. No matter how good a translation is, its hard to make a bad story becomes good unless the storytelling itself is revamp to become more tidy..altho, a good story can become annoying and frustrating to read due to bad translation..

Thank goodness garam didn't immediately accept him.. He was confessing but with bad intention.. Thinking that would help him get sick of garam sooner.. I mean, yea we all know he is in denial.. But friggin jerk didn't deserve garam till he is truly sincere and repent... I like how garam objectively observe jaehyun behaviour and not from blind hatred or rose tinted glasses.. Also make sense for him being careful.. Aside bcuz jaehyun has been acting like massive dick head.. He also had experience of betrayal bfore in his school days..

Ok.. This is one of the example when it's OK it took a lot of chp (in this case 97 chp) for them to confess their love.. As the things that goes along the story are prominent and doesn't feel dragging or filled with fillers.. The story progress with good plot.. Character intro.. Curse intro.. Etc.. And they don't annoyingly repeating that the family is cursed the family is curse or I'm gna die cz of poison, imma be dead in future.. Seriously repetitively saying the main characters issue in stories are getting on my nerve.. But this is one of those story where.. They nicely shows how the curse affect some family members, how it was being abuse, newfound info on the curse etc.. The characters relationship progress, how the Duke's people accept Pereshati, open up to someone outside their blood, how Pereshati grow fond of them and they are no more strictly business..
