also the groomer allegations is actually wild? char is not a groomer, she transgressed only to have a mind of revenge, yes it was bad that she manipulated dylan but thats how you plan something? also she did not live as a human during those 400 years, she lived as a sword and her daily life was mental torture, killing, murders, corruption anything of the negative, she never even had a life to begin with. she never had once experience life of indulgence during then, i like to think that she is still that same age before she was turned into kiera, like that was her preservation of herself her human self. 400years as a sword, she only lived through what she called hell, but she also gained knowledge given that she was the emperors weapon meaning she was always by their side and to rule is to know. She was already a smart child so it was common sense that she’d absorb that knowledge.

in the novel his reaction is even more psychotic,, like here its like a fraction of the “brainwash”
in the novel it was described as obsession towards yvonne with ofc the fragment and his subconcious guilt towards yvonne— he always viewed penelope as a villain and would only gain consciousness/sanity rarely. unlike in this chapter he still has the ability but is rather stopped in a physical manner.
