this is one of those stories that I read years and years ago, and I still think about it to this day. and let me just say, I have terrible memory.
it has such an interesting setting and the best part is that there is a good sequel.
I was very tired while reading this, so I couldn't grasp everything. BUT THIS STORY IS SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING THAN I THOUGHT??? I read the lil description but not the tags this time,, who would've thought it was about past lives? so so good. so melancholic. so bittersweet.
p.s.: really wanted to see them meet the grandpa, but sure,, siiigh
for what it is, it's good enough and quite hot.
besides that, their relationship starts weird and the feelings are way too fast paced, especially from the secretary side?
also, stop with the resignation letter. (especially for the reasons he gave.)
this is such a good palette cleanser and above all, an adorable story, with lovely characters (side characters too !)
need to read more carefully.
actually quite good. super simple but the adorableness makes up for everything.
would have loved to see more of the after, and how they deal with their lives.
rereading this after so long, still made me feel all fuzzy inside. it's one of those stories that could have continued and continued and I don't think anyone would complain. it's absolutely adorable and the characters are all well thought out and have great arcs and development.
wish it would have continued forever, or at least until we saw how they both deal with being popular, plus, I wanted to see what would happen if more people found out about their relationship (or even the entire world). there's always more we want to see so bad ahdjfk.
also, the epilogues presented us with such interesting dynamics, events and characters, and it's a shame we don't get to see them flourish.
the scene at the end with the bear made me tear up actually.
this is super cute, and their dynamic is super interesting to follow. plus it's so funny, like- not the birds always being on top of him ahdjfkfk
(do need to read more carefully since I was in a hurry.)
it's cute on the whole, and me personally, I love delinquent ukes,, but their dynamic didn't develop enough, especially on satomi's end. they did talk a bit, but on the whole, their relationship stayed unbalanced for too long,,, also? no one really understands how he developed his feelings so quickly. plus, as someone said, the slurs that come out of nowhere?? completely unprovoked?? wtf.
people complaining about the slowburn need to understand that most bls are the exact opposite. so. go read those. there's a lot to choose from. me personally, I absolutely adore slow burns,, especially when they're done correctly, such as this one.
