it's truly so depressing that china is so against same sex relationships.. the stories in this manga are realistic, what's realistic is the concept about being gay is not considered normal ;; so it's very depressing to see these characters force themselves to be what everyone considers "normal" by forcing themselves to get wives or husbands, which rlly hurts my heart. I'm not saying that it's so easy for homosexual americans either,, it just saddens me to see people not being able to love who they want to love because it's seen as abnormal or disgusting in people's eyes.

actually China is not /that/ homophobic. well, not until the government decides that gay people are a threat to their declining birth rate i guess. but anw, there are many internet celebs in China who are openly gay/les and partnered and they seem to be living just fine. yes some older people still think being homosexual is weird and a disgrace to the family but at least culturally being gay has never been a crime punishable by law in China. the same, more or less can be said about Japan. Of course both countries still have a long way to go but at least you won't get killed for being gay there (I know the bar is super low :()
this was such a heartwarming story┗( T﹏T )┛how he confessed and then they both started crying rlly made me tear up :,,) the overall concept of the story was rlly important too, & the EMOTIONS as well omggg ;-; .... 5/5 stars for me
