He never liked having sex with her in fact he never finished pff) So in ch 8 the king visit her chamber and they had really good sex, he leaves in the morning but no worries, he stayed all night he just left early. The empress finds out that he stayed there and had sex almost all night so she gets pissed. Anyways, there is a ball and the mc is have really bad period cramps and is not feeling well and the emperor would constantly look at her (and when I say constantly she was the only thing he was Looking at) and would think stuff like "I have been dying to see you but haven't even look my way" (homeboy she dying because of periods calm your dick). In the other hand, the empress knows about how the emperor favors the mc so she makes the mc dance in front of the emperor because she thought she couldn't dance and was going to humiliate herself but girl was she wrong; the mc in the modern world took dance classes so she was able to dance very good and everyone was so into her dance and the emperor fall for her even more. After the dance her cramps were really bad so the emperor was talking but she was not able to pay attention so the empress took this chance and started to tell her how disrespectful bla bla bla but the emperor was like stop everyone leave. The empress thinks like oh she is going to get scolded (she is so dumb I feel bad for her lol) so the emperor is like whats wrong? and the mc faints because of the pain so the emperor goes and grabs her and starts looking for help and the empress was like NO FUCKING WAY. Anyway the emperor and the mc are always together and having sex so of course the other concubines en the empress are mad af, in fact the empress get poison so in one of those tea parties the empress forces her to drink the tea but the mc calls for help for the guard. Since there was no way to tell that she was about to be poisoned they condemn the guard as a violation of his duties for interfering (stupid I know) but or mc is smart. She will eventually tell the emperor what happened and he's was MAD like ready to burn the whole place but mc already contacted her foster dad (which she has a good relationship with) and In this part im not 100% but I guess that they developed some sort of plan so in the next tea party she brought a tea cup made of silver (if you don't know, silver turns dark in contact with any kind of poison) so now they have evidence that the empress has been trying to harm her. After this the emperor punished her and im not sure if she was executed, send to jail or banished her but either way she was no longer the empress and the mc becomes empress but shit happens. In the first chapters, when the mc and the emperor where having sex for the first time they were interrupted because a man was waiting right? well that man betrays the emperor and is trying to take his position. But from what I could tell, the foster dad, the emperor and the mc were expecting this so they developed some sort of plan, but the emperor was shot with an arrow with paralytic poison. The mc is being tortured with the first concubine (the girl who bullied her with the painting brush) I guess this dude promised her to be the empress? but later he is trying the take the mc as his empress so it is fucking weird but anyways she is almost killed by the traitor dude because she doesn't wants to marry him she loves the mc buuuut the foster dad comes and saves the day. That was the last chapters i read so yeah, anyways here are some additional info:
the empress: she actually gets a lover but not really a lover is this dude who is very hot and feminine and they have lots of sex. it is a little bit sad because he does loves her but she was punished for hurting the mc so idk what happened between them
the guard of the mc: he is in love with her in fact he is a sub a total sub haha he fantasies with her dominating him with bdsm shit. I think they might have sex like a threesome with the emperor idk
the traitor: from the start he was trying to get rid of the mc from the emperor, at first I thought maybe because she is ver smart and strong but I think he must have some sort of crush because he wanted to marry her its so weird. Also, he was the one who gave the empress the poison I think
the foster dad: he and the mc have a good relationship, he treats her like a real daughter and the mc really cares for him and everytime she needed help he was there for her so its nice to se that
the emperor: he is really in love with her haha and they have lots of good sex, in one scene she is kind of dominating him and after they finished he was like nuh uh im the one in control and she was like ooo shit im not going to walk tomorrow. Anyways this is as much I cant tell since I cant really read Russian you know haha but he does cares for her
the mc: she is strong af and is ready to fight back. She low-key is developing a harem everyone falls in love when they see her but can you blame them?? she gorgeous. Anyways they take the mc to the hospital and they start talking idk what but mc is no pushover anymore and he throws water to him and leaves.
