To be honest, the rape wasn't even necessary to the story. I wish it had not been included, because it was just too dark for the beginning of the story, and it didn't really mesh with the rest. It would have been enough to have just said he had stolen a kiss from said tutor, and the tutor had maybe struck him and fled. I mean, I couldn't stop thinking about the poor tutor and worrying about what happened to him. All it did was hinder the story.
