For now, my advice is view this manga as a slow burn type. It's easier for the heart that way to accept that Senpai still hasn't fallen for Morinaga after several volumes. When he actually does fall in love, it would be sweeter. I can see the changes between these two, albeit minute.
I'd rather pick a lenghty manga that (hopefully) justifies the end over a rushed one. Also, who doesn't love more chapters? Take your time Takanaga-sensei but you better make the road to the ending real good.

I'm really glad he rejected Rui but I'm afraid of how soft hearted Eiji is. I hope Eiji stays firm with his rejection and only accept Rui once Rui actually becomes someone worthy of Eiji. Eiji's brother and that other delinquent better not guilt trip Eiji in to accepting Rui or else I'll flip.

Was Keigo and Nishi really official tho? Before he met up with the major? Cause this is my third time re-reading this but I remember in the first volume, Keigo and Nishi had a conversation where Keigo said he wants them to be lovers but Nishi said they can still do something fun without being lovers. I don't think there was a conversation between them establishing they were lovers before Nishi met the general.
With this in mind, I believe the term "boyfriend" could've been a mistranslation. Maybe it was supposed to be partners (exclusively sex). But I could be wrong, I can't read Japanese.
If I'm wrong, then Nishi is an asshole in romance.
