NN was always with his father, talking with him through video calls and staying by his bedside during his final days until one night NN woke up running to his father's bedroom and father's health started failing with no hope of recovery. It was sad, but xie you was with him throughout all this.
It's a happy ending, without a doubt.

There were forced kisses, skinship and rough manhandling but FTL loved JJX too much he didn't force him even when he bought him with an enormous amount of money. JC found out and was gonna fetch him but things happened and he stayed with FTL and JJX as YF's guest. JJX found out from FTL about YF. When he saw YF, he felt inferior to him. JJX parted with FTL. He can't love him but I felt he perfectly friend zoned the guy. Extreme case of second male lead syndrome here. FTL told him that if JC wronged him, just return to FTL, his door always open for him. JC's dad didn't approve his gay relationship. Gong fam wants JC to marry their daughter so Jing family would support Gong fam.
