I think it happened because of high emotions. Right before, the ml explained like kinda 'sadly' that he did it because he wanted to be with him and that he's never felt that way before and the MC blushes. I think even though he was pissed still he was in someway touched which led to that high anger turning into partial desire so he kissed him. Sex in a way is kind of like fighting which is why the ml pushed him away and asked if sex and fighting is the only way he knows how to solve his problems. I think it was MCs odd way in the heat of the moment of trying to end the arguement while still "winning" and acting on his burning emotions. I think it comes down to passion it's been established that the MC has poor communication skills and only knows how to solve problems via sex and his fists which is clearly not always the answer. I also think that even though he's pissed he is attached to ml and has a weak point for his face.

Thanks for explaining! I was indeed looking for an analysis for why MC decided to kiss him after ML apologized it in a sad way. This makes sense on why he does it the way he did, he used to be part of the mafia/gangster and it’s so installed into his brains that he only knows violence to solve all his problems. Which is definitely not the proper ways to solve things especially to a lover like ML. Which made me wonder if MC would really changes his methods and start using words, it may be hard because he’s been doing that for all his life but definitely not impossible. I think this would be really nice to see in this story if author really went with that. Character development
