Also the mirror scene was 10x more graphic than this rendition.

I think you're right. I haven't read the novel in forever and I just remembered someone talk about the kidnapping and dragon a couple years ago. I was just confused because in this version, Izek stabbed Cesare immediately in the chest.. and there was no shield or any sign of a fight.. so I guess it'll depend on the next chapter of the manhwa to be released. To confirm if Cesare dies from Izek's stab wound.
Thats will still happen in the upcoming chapters, the queen will use dark magic to bring ruby to cesare, and yeah then izek will come with the dragon
