Because now she’s being obedient in their eyes so they’re starting to care for her because they’re assholes. The only person in that shittty family who I’m kinda ok with is the second brother cause he’s the only one who gets to know how Penelope really feels and ends up apologizing.
I can agree with that but I was thinking about the fact that he made it clear for his reasons for not liking her. And he's openly an asshole but doesn't beat around the bush.
Well, Penelope has stop from being a brat who throws tantrums, she is passive and obedient, she accepts everything they throw to her now, and because of that, they see their own actions as unfair and bullying, they cannot longer see it as the rightful thing to do.
They pretty much had started to see how ugly they are, and in consequence started to care for her.
Well i really hope there was something(?) We dont know but if this is the case i really hate those brothers lol i dont want to misjudge theme so i truly hope there is some other matter about their bad behaviour...
Some people think she is stupid but i mean i like that part of her... the other main characters in the other novels can read the situation always. I really cant read those situations and it makeş me feel like dumb lol
