idk if this is the authors art style but yoon’s character design has downturned eyes at the end which makes his facial expressions solemn even when angry or speaking calmly. it just shows how much a person has went through and you can see it in yoon’s eyes. though what jeon said was toxic but it was realistic (towards yoon and taejoo) he needed to be said. when he said “not everybody can wait for you” was a hard pill but it was the truth. yoon, as much as i adore him, needs to accept that it is his race and that there will be people at the finish line waiting for him, but not everyone at the start will be there at the end. he has to finish the race himself and move on.
i was waiting for kwon to say something abt his feelings bc mans has been emotionally unaware abt his GOD DAMN FEELINGS FOR YOON but nOooOoo taejoo just had to be so indecisive, which i cant blame him bc he has to choose between his past lover or his current lover. like i can slightly empathize w taejoo bc mans been heartbroken for 5 years (although he can’t blame yoon for doing his job and it wasn’t right for taejoo to straight up find another lover) and he and yoon don’t have close ends which leads to a whole other dilemma i don’t even want to get in to. HOWEVER, w kwon, he just needs to be more honest w himself rather than assertive w yoon. cause just shouting at yoon abt why yoon had to end their shenanigans when it could’ve been EASIER to confront if kwon was like “maybe i do like him so i am going to try to keep him.” but he had it backwards....that’s it.
