Since Lucas isn't introduced yet in the manhwa, look at his character first. He's also Ethan's baby brother~ He's quite mysterious at first but when you get to know him, he's actually a really good guy.



He's the reason why ML can see. (This is the reason why Lucas is an important character. I really wish the author could do a little justification about him).



Lucas loves Paula so much! They had a friendly date during the festival.


Lucas is the reason why Violet, Ethan and Vincent (ML) had this somewhat colored ink.

So (from what i remember from the novel) they have a heartfelt moment since this is the first time Rifitan knows that Max is worried about him going to war. They have a kiss goodbye and he does leave but she stays behind. During max’s time at the monastery they start to receive bad news and bodies from the war so she eventually starts getting anxious as days pass cuz the monastery also receiving delayed info. So to get her mind off things she spends time volunteering the injured with other noble women there. She is a big help cause of her herb knowledge but gets fed up by the late info. So her and a friend who’s also a noble get into a disguise as female clerics and basically heads off into the battlefield in order to learn more about what’s happening in the war. She basically becomes a war nurse and helps heal wounded soldiers as the group she snuck into advances into the frontlines. She gets so close to the frontlines that she even has to hid from the remdragon knights and Riftian!
