There was a time skip between chapter 4 and 5. By the beginning of chapter 5 Hajime and Noah have been engaged. Apparently the reason Hajime had his brother look into Noah’s family is to find a way to persuade them to approve their relationship. Noah’s father and his uncle have been estranged for a long time, plus his uncle is craving for connections for his career growth. Hajime promised to give him support from his family, made Noah’s uncle his alliance, then talked Noah’s mother into approval by saying that their engagement will be a chance to reconnect her husband and his brother.
During their engagement party, we have a glimpse into Hajime’s relationship with his beta brother. It seems their mother was determined to make Hajime the heir because he’s alpha, but even as a kid Hajime’s intuition was good enough to decide that he want to be a good brother and support his older brother instead. He acted as a rebellious kid, so the family made his brother the heir and Hajime promised to be useful for him in the future. He sacrificed the position he was given at birth so his brother didn’t grow up resenting him and their relationship remains strong.
Noah was surprised by everything Hajime had done so they can be together. After the engagement he was still worried about Hajime’s fated mate who is somewhere out there. Hajime told Noah that he has lived his entire life for the family and Noah is the only thing he has ever wanted for himself. I think they are happy now. Hajime has never apologised for strangling him, though （￣へ￣）

Here’s the thing: chapter 6 (first chapter of volume 2) was published in onBLUE vol 47 this June. Chapter 7 was in onBLUE volume 49 released about 2 weeks ago. I don’t know futekiya very well but considering the 4 month gap between 2 chapters, they will have plenty of time to catch up with the Japanese release. And it will take at least until late 2021 for volume 2 to be complete :( so maybe you should wait until then to subscribe and read everything in one go lol.

Same here... pI did have more expectation after reading chapter 1. It’s cute, but the story to too short to deal with their professional so sometimes it felt... illogical and unnatural. The plot is driven by typical events that it just lost the special spark that I found in chapter 1. Plus Motoi’s personality makes his feeling seems not genuine? Lol. I finished the last chapter and still wonder if he truly loves the other guy ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Just a few chapters ago, I stood up for you guys when someone posted their translation before your release. I understand that after that incident, you have been in a rush to push out chapters as quick as possible. BUT that is no legit reason to release something revolting and dreadful like this! If you have read other chapters they did before 39, you will see the vast difference in quality. It’s not like they can’t do it, so to me it feels like either they are being pressured (so the quality dropped), or they stopped caring.
Usually I don’t comment on quality as long as it’s readable. I don’t care if the SFX is ugly or raw is stolen from toonkor with watermark. Why bother buying raw and typesetting if the translation doesn’t even make sense? I believe I have been respectful in my response, all I ask is the translation group showing respect to their own project.

This manhwa is surprisingly poetic, well thought-out and circulated. It’s probably because it is a novel adaption, but the webtoon artist (Jaxx) did an absolutely amazing job to transform the words into the world of WOW that we have known of. Hats off to them for one of the most perfect works I have ever got the pleasure to read.
