Usually I don’t go around nitpicking fan translation, but this one has some mistakes (nothing major though). Like in second to last page, Louis actually said “your brother would have like that (kiss)”. Or when Thompson talked about legal drinking age in NY, he didn’t say “I have been drinking for a year” but actually he said “I’m just about to be legal age”. I just happened to read the raw right before seeing the update here so my memory is still fresh.
If anyone needs raw, you can find it here https://comic.pixiv.net/works/5735 only chapter 1-3 and extra is available. Would really appreciate if anyone to point me to a link with chapter 4-7 (/TДT)/

Trust me when I say you should take a break and wait until chapter 21 is translated because

In chapter 20, our lovely heroine is taken away by guard and her bird spirit attacks the prince and Tia. Kuro does a good job protecting them, then just when everyone thinks the bird spirit has disappeared, it strikes again right after Kuro let down her shield and hits Cecil. He faints, Tia screams, end of chapter.

Basically Chang grew up around corrupted people and he tried to corrupt Ed, but Ed was resilient working low pay honest jobs for many years to pay the debt and Chang had fun watching Ed running around inside his palm, struggling? Like a child that put a bug into water to watch it struggling and eventually is disappointed that it dies. Damn, he’s a true sicko. I don’t care if his feeling for Ed is genuine or not because it’s freaking twisted and benefits no one.

The art is delicious as always. But for some reasons the premise seems... kinda forced for me? The professor guy (Louise) doesn’t want trouble but keeps provoking the unknown and seemingly emotionally unstable brother. For what? He should have kept it professional and pushed him away. People don’t give away personal information like that. And that brother is... bizarre.
Wondering how CTK is going to make sense of this.

I like how it’s wrapped up. Just thinking it could have been better. Everyone would agree that all of them need help from professionals; but then mental illness is a taboo in Japan and professional help is almost non-existence (sigh). When Shinobu talked about his past, I almost expected him to say he approached Mizuki to vent his anger OR to destroy his life completely by being reported as a molester. It would make more sense than him being attracted to Mizuki for... almost nothing? And being attracted is very far from molesting the person on a train, you know? He has yet to explain the drive behind his actions at the beginning.
Mizuki’s maturity was sudden and unexpected; but I’m glad he took the matter into his hand and found the best way to move forwards how he knows. He managed to save Shinobu while saving himself and that’s their happy ending I guess.
I was going to say that I know this art style and this kind of plot... Fullmetal Alchemist. Haha... it has been about 10 years and I’m still a sucker for such painful angst.
