20/10!!! There, I have said it. What a roller coaster of emotion. No more of the non sense “Oh what is this feeling, my heart goes 100 miles a second and I don’t know what it means!” (No offence, I like those stories too but you must be naive to believe any actual person acts like that). How rare it is for us to have a couple that actually sits down and talk about their insecurities and shortcomings? Not only once, but several times? The author has quite some accurate portrayal of LGBT people and everyone in this story is real and believable - even the annoying two-timing ex-girlfriend, I can’t hate her either. The story is wholesome and with gorgeous art on top of that (can’t get enough of those hands!!! ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ ). I’m sold. Please accept my worship Author-san.

This story is different and great, but something is off with the translation...? Anyone knows whether this is translated from Japanese or from Chinese? In the scene with Ayame sitting in the living room watching TV I think I saw Chinese character.

ok wait NO forget what I said!!!!!! I thought the same thing as you because of the chinese characters and it all just sounds like a typical jp to chinese to english translation (reminded me of Super Lovers back in the day) but I found the raws and they are japanese https://www.yaoiotaku.com/forums/threads/60395-Hanagara-Tsumi-%F0%9F%8C%B8-Tsuba-Daeki-JP so I don't fucking know... I'm quite confused now. But the translator changed like 3 times so maybe that's what it is? And the characters idk...

Thanks for the link! I cannot access volume 1 though, got a 404 error, and the scene I saw Chinese characters is in vol 1. As you said the scanlation group may have changed translator and the language they translate from. I’m content with vol 2 raw (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ The source on Facebook messed up the page order so it was a nightmare to read

Yeah same... but now I'm pretty sure volume 1 was also japanese because the thumbnail the scanlation group used for the manga on their page is the first page of chapter one in japanese. And they stated that they got all the raws from the person who uploaded it to yaoiotaku so... either the person who uploaded them has chinese and japanese raws on hand (which i don't think so) or the chinese characters are just a stylistic element and the translation got confusing bc the style of the translator changed..? haha but it's weird for sure so many clues that it's a chinese translation and than it supposedly isn't lmao

Insecurity is real, and it can interfere tremendously with how you make every decision. We are outsiders and see everything objectively, but the people in this story cannot. Yes he had been confessing for months, but what’s there to guarantee that he hasn’t moved on? Suddenly he hangs out with this girl and even blushes when being with her (this is from Yuyang’s POV ok), why is it wrong to protect himself from getting hurt. Yuyang has just got out of a who-knows-how-many-year-long unrequited love. Give them time.
I’m saying this because I’m dating someone like Yuyang, and lemme tell you by the 2nd month we spent days and nights together but it took my gf 3 more months to finally confess, and that was only because I pressed her. She was in love with her best friend for 3 years and while they both said I love you to each other, she knows fully well it’s not the same kind of love. She thought I was going to be the same. Should I have ditched her because she was not making any progress? Of course not! My point is, we were given the extra chapter about them spending time with family so we know they will end up together and all will be well... just be more patient please┗( T﹏T )┛
This story keeps pulling my heart strings and I’m so, so sad. This is the kind of story that you don’t need to like the MCs to enjoy it. I’m a sucker for realistic, flawed characters and this story is full of them.
Sometime you can’t make everyone happy. Should they break up and continue their closet gay life, separately, heart-broken? Should they forget about the perfect family image and the lovely wife and adorable daughter, knowing full well that they will be haunted their whole life knowing that they hurt those two innocent beings? The author knows that there is no perfect answer for this love, and whichever choice they make will stay with them forever.
