Honestly, he has a way more valid reason to hate/ignore her.
However I wouldn’t justify enough for him to actually neglgect to communicate to her. He eventually realizes that she would do anything for him, in the past life. He even describe it. So he wasn’t justified in just staying silent the whole relationship and not explaining anything to her.
But also, she did not understand him. She probably didn’t know how the fuck he got to Korea its just that he is handsome and a S class Esper. She honestly should have communicated it better with words though I found her actions to be sufficient.

Okay so she is now free from her family by being physically away from them. She earns good income with her job and finds satisfaction with her work.
I hate that she is ruining it for a guy, who tells her of promises that may or may not be fulfilled. In my perspective, she is currently at a crucial stage where she can be left with nothing. She know how the nobility works, they dress up and change as fast as they change woman. She saw how the love her mother had, faded like its being washed away by the river. Because of what? Her eyes. Her father told her it was because he was bewitched by a witch.
I do not get how she keeps saying to never hope because you will never be fulfilled. But she keeps hoping anyway. She knows it can’t be. She also knows someone massacred her clan before, which should be a giant red flag for her. Like uhhh maammmmm???
For me its super risky to be in love with the future duke when you don’t have family backing. Because at the end of the day it could have been the whims of a noble and you would be left crying and hurting.
Damn I forgot how tear jerker this manga was. Wtf I feel for her. First 20 chapter is gold honestly gave her enough background and an absolute melancholy.

I kind of like how the Empress is written. Her character is really giving dommy mommy vibes. I know she practically raped the emperor and now threats him as object but really if we take out and see her character for who she is. Man, she is so hot. I’m not even lesbian. This woman can take me. So powerful, ambitious, and ruthless, she knows what she wants and communicates it.
What both the brothers lack is really communication. You can see that it’s a trend among characters but I quite like it. It closely related to how real life works. We’re not mind readers. We don’t take indifference as affection. We typically interpret it as hate.
Anyway I really love this story. Honestly, I actually feel sad for the first life. They already loved each other, it was so close yet so far.
