I am already laughing thinking about what is to come. As someone who read the novel (well still reading it's not fully translated yet) I am here just because I love reading back on what happened previously and laughing again at all of it. Of course the manga skips a lot of stuff or simplify too much so it's not as savage and funny as the novel but it is still very amusing. I truly recommend the novel! To me, despite the age difference, it is one of the few novel where I feel like the MC and the ML are equals vs have the MC being superior to everyone else but with a ML that is like soooo much stronger and blahblah. Also I think they have a very wholesome relationship from the beginning, not stalkerish, or pushy/forceful and none of the tsundere stuff either. Anyway I just love this!

From what I understand of this kind of trope is that mmm all the background story serves as obstacles to their love. Like it really follows the love conquers all idea yikes. Like usually you have I dunno family backgrounds, other characters, like random things to serve the plot to make it harder for the two characters to get together. But for some authors it’s too simple they need to make the ML a littéral piece of shit who hurt the MC multiple times oh and rape is literally their cherry on top. Like I’ve seen that in many stories wondering why it wasn’t about the MC getting revenge and ending up with someone better (like Eden). And then I got it.
