Exactly!! We don’t blame her or anything bc she’s innocent but it’s still so frustrating that she’s so clueless.

Ignorance is never a free pass to be acquitted from her crimes. She is still an accessory to treason and by law will have to pay for her actions. A person is responsible for their own actions, being used or not, she will never be “innocent”

jeanette would be well off in modern day. The royalty universe is just too underhanded and full of schemes when jeanette wants to believe the best in everybody. I feel a little bad for her. It would be nice if she could meet someone new that's genuine, cares for her, and is willing to put her feet back on the ground.

But she chose to be ignorant~ it's not like she really did not do anything wrong. she is raised as a noble lady right? even a commoner will know what is right and not in the empire. She wants all of them to know she's a princess? And what everything will be happy?
Does she not learn any history of the empire like how Claude killed all his bro's and sell his sisters? Does she not attend balls or tea party and hears any gossip about Princess Athy the ONLY heir to the throne?

Did she really think that the tyrant Emperor who ascends to the throne by rebelling and killing his family will accept her because mr. Whitey told him she's his daughter?

Not a sweet girl for me, she can pass as a puppet. Ignorant who victimized herself. Yah she don't know her real dad is plotting something but I think she did know that Mr.Whitey is up to something she just turns a blind eye to that like how Ezekiel from 1st timeline turns a blind eye to Athy's death~

she was sheltered and probably not educated on the evil side of nobles since her adopted father was part of a scheme and wanted to use her without her knowing.
Also, she doesn't want the throne anyways. She lived to believe in everything her father told her and obediently at that.
She might not even know about Claude's wrongdoings. As I said, she's very sheltered and mr white wants her to play along with his plan to rise to power.

She knew somethings, she knew Claude's true nature. She felt it the moment she met him the 1st time and the 2nd time. She realized immediately that yes Claude is a tyrant. But yeah she turned blind again and expects that Claude will be good to her if he knew she's his daughter. She thought that all the love that Claude is giving Athy will also be hers if mr. White will tell him she is his daughter too.

Also Jeanette knew that mr.white was suppose to confess to claude everything in the coming of age ceremony of Athy but the moment Claude answered mr.white that other than athy any daughter or son he'll have it will be not the same. So mr. White decided to hide it and bet in Ezekiel x Athy.

Also this is kinda a spoiler. Even though Claude himself tells her face to face that she is not his daughter she tried to deny it resulting to her losing control of her dark mana. Dunno in manhwa cause I feel like she's having a connection to Anastacius and she herself felt it.
